What do you think of Apple now?

Pishah to earlier malware post too. Fewer I'd agree but nothing close to 'none'.
And the only reason is that Apple is a 'fringe market' of 'fringe users' too.

Security through obscurity. Surprisingly, this is an argument that I used to hear several years ago. "Oh, well, I really want to use Linux because the crackers don't think it's important enough to make a target out of."
I think Linux has lots of security updates these days. At least when I was working with SuSE a few months ago I was seeing them published daily.
Anyway, it's a sign of flattery that an OS has to worry about security. We should all be grateful to Microsoft -- long as it took -- that we're not running DOS-based Windows systems anymore. Now THAT would've been a humongous disaster for the web generation.

Some excellent switching propaganda here.

There are several reasons that channel partners hear related to why PC users move to Mac, but the key reason is system stability/security." An approximate 70% of Apple specialists in the PiperJaffray study said PC-to-Mac switchers are making the move primarily because of concerns and annoyances related to stability and security of the Wintel platform.

No changing the subject.
