You can't compare this to the car industry. 80% of all computers worldwide are Intel based. Show me a car co with 80% market share.

Consider instead the market for Cola drinks. Apple is the RC cola to Intel Coke and Pepsi combined.

Bad analogy. You get what you pay for with those - inferior flavor, but at 1/2 the price (sometimes less). With Mac you get a more stable but less capable computer at a 50-100% price premium. It's more like buying a fine wine - might taste better, but a $20 bottle of vodka will get you further.
