Reading a book to school kids.

Actually, I was talking on the phone with my bro who called to wake me up by saying, "We're under attack! Turn on the news!"

I was in high school.

Heard about something on the news.. or some kind of commotion on the TV's, and walked to my next class, which was advanced reading. It was on the TV there, and we just sat there amazed for the whole period. I dont think we did much that day. We didnt get off early, I dont beleive.

But I also had my orientation at Target that night. It was really weird. One of the guys also in there, his dad worked in one of the buildings. He couldnt get ahold of him for the whole day, but ended up finding out that he was not at work that day... being sick, or just lucky.

I was working (no, really). I got an email from a friend, something to the effect of "A plane just hit the WTC in NYC." I replied something to the effect of "stupid tourist trying to get a good picture?" I wish it had been that.

i heard from my ex-gfs mother that there was an accident in America. I didn't suspect anything, but when I got to work, I realized immediately the severity of the "accident".

I was asleep in Hawaii when Chris's friend called at 5am and woke us up to see if we had heard. We were spose to come home that day but we got stuck there for 1 more week Our 6 days on business in HI turned into 17 days!!!! First there were equipment delays, then the 9/11 attack. Our expenses ended up being 9K, damn, I eat a lot It was very stressful being stuck with no way to get home so we ate and drank and swam and sunned.

yes... I had to eat and drink (on expense account) the misery away.

Really - I was worried about Elliott being left at HOME ALONE!!! So I had to drink extra. You, big sister being stuck in Illionios at the time.
