The Memory Keeper's Daughter. Was hoping to finish it and move on to something else this weekend, but it was not to be.
It's been a good read so far, but it really is time for me to stop buying depressing books.

The Memory Keeper's Daughter was a good read overall. Being home sick I flew through From Homelessness to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story. It was interesting as well. For some reason I didn't expect the bulk of the book to be about her life leading up to being accepted to Harvard, but it makes sense.

Now I'm reading Finding My Talk. It's collection of (true) stories about several women's experiences in residential schools across Canada (another uplifting read lol). Almost done that one too.

Problem with the Kindle is that it gives me ADD with books... I'm reading:
1. The Black Swan by Nassim Nicholas Taleb
2. Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond
3. Functional Programming for Java Developers by Dean Wampler

And let's keep it to those three, I have like four or five other unread books on my Kindle that I'm not going to start until I make some progress on these.

A bio of Wallis Simpson by Charles Higham. So far it's a little too thorough for me (way too many names of people I'm not familiar with), but I'm pushing through!

Finished reading that bio (while it was chock full of information, it was kind of an overload. If you're a history buff, it might be easier to keep all the names straight!). Now I'm reading Motherless Daughters. Definitely some interesting insight into women's experiences losing their mothers, either through death, divorce, addictions, abandonment, etc.
