i was doing about 140mph (according to rpm) in my old civic when i got pulled over
i was on the freeway (posted 65mph), and the state trooper must've clocked me but decided to call in a partner - my all-motor four-banger must've been too fast for the big V8 i guess
anyway, the other cop was waiting for me down the road with his lights on. he pulled me over.
alex: evening, officer. is there a problem?
cop: officer so-and-so clocked you above the posted 65mph back there. do you know how fast you were going?
alex: to be honest sir, no. my speedometer stops at 125mph.
blah blah blah
cop: son, he clocked you at in excess of 140mph.
alex: oh...
cop: i'm writing you a ticket for a 90 in a 65. just try to keep it below 100.
(it was 3am)
