It appears that over the weekend, this thread has mutated from being a single-celled organism, To becoming a more complex life form.

Recent studies have concluded that the only thing that increases thread longevity more than actual posts, is the desire for said thread to wither and die:

Therefore, thread longevity is DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL to # of posts, while INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL to desired thread demise.
