Did you live in or near KL Jack ??

I have been there quite a few times, and also to a place up near the Thai border called Kedah. My company are building a dam up there and I have to visit the site every now and then.

We have tendered for a large projet in KL as well, which, if we win it, means that I should get a few more trips there. I like KL. It is one of the few cities in Asia that really seems to be prospering at the moment

My wife and I actually got engaged in Penang, but we were staying up the north end of the island quite a way from George town (can't remember the name of the area).

We did visit Georgetown, and went up the hill/mount that overlooks the city, which gave a great view of the place.

In fact, when I am going up to Kedah I usually fly into Penang as it is the closest airport to the project ....

I love this place.

 

I've never left NA...I really want to go check out what else is out there.

 

I've always put travel and living elsewhere high on the list but just a little bit below other things.
