I'm in a similar situation. I'm driving an Acura Integra (no problems yet, fingers crossed). I thinking about getting an S2000, but keep wondering if I should get a house etc first. And I have some money in investments that I really do not want to take out right now.
But then again, I don't have $60k anywhere. Not so similar after all, I guess.

Hey JonBoy,
When you were giving scriptural references to women in relation to their position in the church, I think that 1 Tim Chapter 3 explains this well. In it instructions for who can be elders, both pastors and leaders of the church, are explained very clearly. Also on the issue of equality, the Bible clearly states that both men and women are equal. However, that is in regard to the value God puts on us. We, men and women, have different roles. It does not make us any lesser in value, but that is how we have chosen to interpret it. The Bible mentions how women must submit to men, and society wants us to think that this is demeaning. However, everyone submits. We submit to our teachers, our bosses, the police, the military, the government, in essence to each other. Yet when we say that women should submit to their husbands it is looked on as some kind of derogatory comment. My wife and I share all decisions. I readily seek her advice, counsel and opinions on everything because the Bible clearly states that Jesus said to all husbands to "love their wives as He loves the Church". I see this as the ultimate way to show your wife love and respect. Once again, submission is not a bad thing, everyone submits. Even Jesus Himself submitted to the will of the Father.
Btw, yes I am a Christian, who believes the Bible is the Word of God and who is opposed to women pastors.
