I'm thinking of getting a Fender bass for fun.

Congrats Colin! That'll be awesome. I've never really known any instruments, but I'd like to learn. I did take Piano for 4 years...but you can't get good if it takes you 4 years to learn "Mary had a Little Lamb"...and even that takes me about 15 minutes to figure. Sometimes I don't know whether to throw the Piano out the window or me.
