I was reading the latest edition of Road & Track and they claim that Honda does not intend to phase out the S2000. Rather, they are planning a redesigned 08 model with the 4 cylinder engine pumping out 250 hp and possibly a V6 with no details on engine output. The redesign could be a 2 + 2 or the same arrangement as current models. The prototype they pictured was definitely redesigned and it looked very nice. I didnt get all the details as I was browsing as the wife was shopping. They claim they were talking to people in the Honda division but I cant remember all the details. It may just be another false alarm as I dont think Honda would tip their hand at this time for an 08 model. Hope I'm wrong. Speaking of new Honda's, Charlie showed up at my grandson's birthday party last saturday with his new 07 Element (company car) Nice and roomy with pleanty room for Christian to play. Just cant stay away from Honda's Charlie.

I also heard about the 4 seat s2000 coupe with a detuned nsx motor.

 

Dude, quit living in denial. They stopped making the S2000 4 years ago.

Yeah they have that rule about how you can't post anymore future S2000 threads. It got out of hand. But don't they have this topic on the homepage of s2ki?
