This might be a little ways off, but Audi is having their driving experience again in August.

You basically get to thrash their cars as they teach you high speed manuevers. Even take the TT out on the track in a "follow the leader" type way. It's free too.
One that "improves" most will get to ride in the R8 around the track with a pro driver.

I went last year and it was good fun.

This is pretty cool....thanks for posting.

I'm going to share it amongst the crowd.....some of them might spring for the the 1/2 day 595 deal There are SOME advantages to being 40+

just got back from it. it was a really cool event. a good amount of track time compared to lecture/debriefing. i did the autocross-style portion first, where we compared a 328ix, is250, c300 and a new a4. the bimmer and audi were the champs there, i thought both did well.

then we took a train of a4's around the south track, including some banking and a bit of twisty infield. it's a heavy car, but did pretty well. we couldn't really stretch out due to the rest of the cars ahead.

then after the survey, i got to hop in an a6. bit of a dog around the track compared to the a4.

i have pretty limited track/autocross experience (this was my first outing on a real track) so i can't compare it to much, but i had a good amount of fun and would definitely do this again.

it was cool meeting some of the s2ki-ers there!

The event was ok. I didn't enjoy this event as much as the last event they had where you were able to drive their whole range.
