Default DD S2K

I drive the S2K every where, and it doesnt matter when, I treat the weather just like the Mailman (go out no matter what.) The car has to be clean, or close to it, and when its gets to that time I would just hand wash it, but its way to cold for this now, so who, what, when and where are you guys/gals do to keep your car clean?

Thanx,

Mike

instead of washing mine in the driveway, i go to the local car wash and bring my bucket and everything i would use in my driveway. the good thing is when its this cold, they keep the hoses running a little water all the time so they dont freeze up. i fill my bucket with this "Free" water, which is usually warm at newer car washes. then i do my wheels first (eagle 1 works better dry). so i still havent used any water yet. then when im ready to soap i'll put money in, rinse off the wheels and get it wet for the soap. then i'll put money in one more time to rinse off the soap. if you're fast you only have to put money in twice.

thats just how i do it. no easy way. my S isnt my daily driver so i can get away with only washing it a few times a winter and just drive it on the nice days.

hmmm, that's a good idea!

my car is SO dirty right now... at least it's silverstone so it blends in with most of the dirtyness.

I have the means to wash it with a bucket at my rents place, but its to frickin cold, and don't always want to go there to do it. Well let me state it this way, its to damn cold to wash outside at this point for my liking.

Ive tride the touchless car wash joints but they don't like soft tops, the machines just blow the seems to shit, and water gets all over the place.

like i said, water is heated at most of the new car washes... if you are going to wash your car in the winter, you will be cold. bottom line.

that is unless you work at a dealership with an indoor wash rack... which i used to. that was awesome....

Sometimes in the winter I'll use my parents pressure washer (make sure you use low pressure and a correct nozzle) with a soap attachment. Gets it clean enough.

The car wash near my house is completely out of service. I don't know where to go. I need to wash my car bad... especially the undercarriage.

I just washed last weekend with no problems. Just fill up your bucket with hot water and you are good to go Since I have been lazy with the intervals on my last washes, I put a good coat of wax on the front end to make it easier on the next wash.
