yeh my rods and bearings went.... dealship is not fixing my car this is great never bvuy from conicilli dealsherip.. anyone have a shortblock for sale??

If you have a year bumper to bumper why is it not covered under warranty?

What reasons did they give, and have you appealled to Honda?

i just got my diff replaced from keenan, under warrenty. I also know some of the mechanics so maybe that helped. I also had an exhaust and intake.(so some mods seem to be ok.)

for keenan.

I took everything off except my exhaust said a honda technician is gonna look at my car few days later they said there not gonna fix my car cause i had "after market applications" to my car which was my splash guarde cut because of my cold air intake. Im not sure what to do.....

I would either put a new panel on there and take it to another dealer or tell that dealer that you bought the car from them that way. What do they know.

I told them i bought the car from them like that but they said it was certified when i bought it.....

That sucks. OK buy a new panel and take it to another dealership or swap panels with someone and swap back after it is fixed. You could also appeal to the District Manager (I think that is the title) and say that the intake had nothing to do with the oil and bearing problem that was encountered. Sounds like it could be related to the 2 hole oil jet bolts on 2000 and some 2001 before Honda switched to 4 hole for the rest of the production.
