A little explaination... the interior speaker are MB Quart (front components and rear coax) powered by one 1500 watt amp and the trunk is 12" of Rockford Fosgate powered by the second 1500 watt amp (both RF). I kept the stock head unit which is MORE then adequate unless you want a CD changer. Matching up the stereo controls can be done but is more then I wanted to do. What you cant hear is the Crystal Method screaming out of the headrests and the bass makes your hair vibrate! Yes it can be obnoxious but that wasnt my aim... I just really wanted to hear music when I'm doing 80 with the top down... Honestly, with it turned up to 3 bars ... it's intolerably loud and without a hint of distortion... The headrest enclosure is made by a guy in Cali (S-Pods). Mark is his name and he was really easy to deal with, I have his phone number if anyone's interested This system would satisfy anyone!

The enclosures themselves were something like $200. The speakers on the other hand... well thats when everything gets a lil nuts and trust me... as you can see.. its easy to get nuts. MB Quart which is like the next best thing in speakers now added up to something like.. hmmmm 7-800 for the headrests and the upfront components. Sound of tri state did all of the installation. You really wanna pick the speakers out carefully especially in the headrest cuz they're only 5 1/4" Mark will tell ya not to go with coax... but you can take my word for it... they are MORE than you can handle... Amps are a must!
