I might finally getting my p.o.s. back on the road and I need a car cover for the S. It will be sitting outside because I dont have a garage to park it in. It needs to be waterproof, tough, and something that doesnt blow all around when its windy. Any suggestions on which are good and do I need cables/ropes to help keep it on? Also I dont want to spend an arm and a leg on it either.

Wow thats a tall order. Most of the better covers are quite costly. My S is parked outside and I cover her every-night. I use a Covercraft lightweight cover it was around $300 (not waterproof, water resistant) Waterproof covers are a nightmare (IMO) they are heavy and hard to store....if left on long enough after a rain ANY cover is going to do damage to your paint. The lightweight Covercraft one dries quick as to lesson the damage by moisture. Maybe the heavyweight ones are made from better material by now, but I know of a few people who have had cars scratched, etc by heavyweight "waterproof" inexpensive covers

The Covercraft cover I have rolls up very small. It is quite packable and comes with a bag that takes up very little room in the trunk.

Covercraft WeatherShield. Cost me about $199 off of ebay. I think the guy's ID was carstuff4sale. A bunch of people used him on the board. Lasted through lots of blizzards (3 ft of snow) and a shitload of rain.

Try Properautocare.com. Got mine there and it fits perfect. Even has sleeve for the antenna. Water resistant and grommets for cable and lock. Cant remember the cost, I think around $250. You can E-mail them and they will give you a quote.
