Default Lowering seat

Anyone here have experience in lowering their oem seat? I’m a little nervous to try the hammering out my seat pan method mentioned in my search. Also the cost of the bys rails seem steep at $400ish to move only 20mm.

The BYS rail makes a big difference. It may only be 20mm, but its a night and day difference IMO. Check out rhdjapan.com, its a lot cheaper than buying from anyone in the states. It's where I bought my rail and numerous other people I know have done the same thing. https://www.rhdjapan.com/search/bran...ior_seat-rails

Thank you! May be a dumb question, but would I still order the left seat since they have RHD? And will shipping be outrageous to the states?

Yes, you want the left seat. Its probably $80-100, but once the order is processed, the shipping is super quick and often times overnighted. So total is probably ~$300, which is reasonable and it will totally change the car for you. I wish i bought one sooner...
