all. I recently left he Del Val to come back home to MD. When I was up there, I lived in Levittown, close to the Burlington-Bristol Bridge. As you get onto the bridge on the Pennsy side, there is what looks like the remains of a town. Google and yahoo both have it as Maple Beach.

Here is the link

My question is...what happened to the town?

I can buy that. But what makes me think otherwise is the tree lined roads...usually the last thing to go in is landscaping. Thanks for the reply.

Interesting. I have lived not too far from that area for 18 years and never heard about it. Must have been quite a while ago

It's a secret government test facility housing an exactly replica of the Nurburgring racetrack. I suggest we assemble the DelVal crew and investigate.

People still fish off the banks of the River, but I do not think I would eat anything anywhere near Rhom and Haas.

Land for sale perhaps? If you look close there is one house in the north west corder, as well as a few in the south east (closest to water). Also is it just me or are those 2 tennis courts on the west side of the area...

Edit: As far as the trees, notice the surrounding forest area, most likely they were just selected trees that weren't cut down, not planted. However the tennis courts are very mysterious...

Re-Edit: Just looked it up on google maps, certainly is tennis courts, you can get a lot closer with this link.
