It's probably an old Indian burial ground, and when they started to construct homes there it turned into a real life situation of the movie "Poltergeist".

Anyone for some pink ooze?

It sounds like a good photo spot... I ride by there on my jet ski every now and then but never really wondered, i though it was under construction. It looks like there are some dug in pools?

honestly my best guess is some stupid ass speculator has control of that land and he's not gonna sell it until 20-30 years from now when the land appreciates to over 1000% of its current price...you can make a shitload of money if you speculate right...but i honestly feel that some of these people are the scum of the earth because of the economic and community damage they do by hording resources that could be put to good use NOW...

also look at the area...seriously all someone has to do is buy a tract of land still untouched basically in a major metropolitan area....sit on it 20 years...and your rich as hell...its so close to philly and trenton that the land is probably worth a pretty penny now...imagine 20-30 years from now when there is absolutely NO land left...its gonna be worth, my guess, in upwards of around 2000% of its current value...damn speculative vultures...the houses that are actually built there right now...the owners probably bought the land at some insane price just to build and live there..and thats whats gonna keep happening as land runs out in that area.
