Cherry Hill has a train station with trains going to 30th St. Haddonfield has the PATCO line.

I live in the Barclay Farm development in CH. There are a few houses for sale at the moment, although not all will have a two-car garage.

How far away from Philly are all these places? I appreciate all the feedback. But she doesn't want a town house or a condo. It really couldn't matter less to me. I just really want a 2 car garage . It would also be nice to be in a cul de sac so that I could have a Tech day . Well I think were gonna be heading down there on the 17th to look at a few nieghborhoods so keep the suggestions coming Thanks again everyone
If you want a Cul De Sac your best bet is to move to Cherry Hill or somewhere in that area.

im in lumberton and thats about 20-25 min from the city there are a TON of houses for sale in the area too.
you could most likely find what you are looking for in that price range, you can look in the lumberton/eastampton area.

taxes kinda suck though, but thats all of jersey

LOL taxes in Jersey aren't to bad you guys need to see what taxes are here in LI. Nassau county taxes average 9k or more and thats for a lot of 60X100 if it's bigger then that your looking at an easy 12k. From what I'm seeing of south jersey tax wise it's 7k for a huge piece of property.

Hey everyone me and my +1 are thinking of moving down to south Jersey. I have friends that live in Woodbury and I was just wondering if anyone could give me some ideas as to where to look for a nice house. We might both be working in Philly so I don't want our commute to be crazy no more the 1hr with traffic. We really don't want to spend more the 450k but would like a min of 3 beds 2 baths and at least 1 car garage. So post up some ideas for me. Thanks in advance
few things...1: Philly traffic is always crazy. Unless you get lucky, it takes about an hour to get from Norristown to Center City. That's a 15 mile drive. 2: if you want a nice hours, noce to Pennsylvania. I grew up in south jersey. it's a shithole. really. I'd suggest you move to the western Philadelphia suburbs and get a job in Valley Forge, KOP or Plymouth Meeting. East Norriton is a really nice area, however Norristown(East Norritons neighbor) is a shithole.

Camden, which is right by Cherry Hill. Also, one of the worst places in the country to live. But I've been all over south jersey. The shore is gross, Burlington is gross, Pennsauken, Cinaminson, Lyndenwald, etc etc. The few decent places(Cherry Hill, Haddonfield, Marlton) are surrounded by slums and believe me, the assholes don't stay in one spot.

Believe me, having lived in PA and NJ, move to PA. It's close to Jersey, there's plenty of industry, still close to the shore, and there's a lot more area with nice places to live. Plus, overall cost of living in PA is much cheaper than Jersey. With the exception of gas, everything is cheaper here. Roads are shitty in both states.
