need to s2k in Del. Val.
Hello to all of the Delaware Valley members,
I'm currently looking for a 2002 S2k for msrp or better { I'm leaning towards better}. Could anyone suggest a dealer? I live outside of Philadelphia near New Hope and would travel as much as 300 miles if the deal was right. I have heard of people getting msrp with options included. Is this true?
On a side note. I hope to buy the car by march. if I have the car by march I would love to join you on a New Hope / Upper black eddy / sp?. run there are some great roads up here with all the twist you could ask for. I have done a couple of spirited trips with my Audi club and everyone had a blast.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Reese

Are you really set on a 2002? You'll get a better deal on a 2001, if the improvements are not a big deal to you. There have recently been a number of ads in the Sunday Inquirer for low-mile s2k's...could be a deal? That's how I got mine (msrp) almost 2 years ago with only 30 miles on it. I know Martin Main Line Honda in Ardmore recently had a Red on the showroom floor with a few 1000 miles.
There are people OnBoard here now from almost every area outside of the city, including some fairly new owners. Let's get some posts to help out Reese! This could be a good thread!
I also received a PM from a guy in Plymouth Meeting who is interested in ordering one in January. maybe you can start a group buy

Thank you both for your responce.
I have the bug REAL BAD. In case you happen to see or hear about either a white or silver please post. I'm looking to buy around March, unless my sales person at Piazza Honda has a mental laps (my deal is msrp, with front spoiler and rear spoiler. They would not go for a hard top.) I want the car now but will wait for the best deal. As far as a 2001 goes. I would consider one with LOW miles. I do however like the glass window and I have read on this site that the 2002 seem to have a improved tansmission. I would kick my self if I bought a used or faulty 2001 only to save $2000.00 {guess}. I now how some people treat new cars or even how they test drive cars and I would be hesitant to trust someone (i.e. dealer) knowing human nature. I know this only because I'm one of those humans / ha. I nearly burned up an A4 until I bought mine.
Thanks again,
Reese
