I'd guess the following:

If you keep all the documentation that shows merely cosmetic work (really no different than the CF hood in a way), there shouldn't be a value hit. Not like you got driveline, suspension or other key parts done.

I hope they are as generous to me, seeing as how my carfax sheet is no longer clean. Luckily I have no intent on selling the car anytime soon, so it really shouldn't make any difference.
Take an OEM hood and an OEM bumper cover to your body guy for paint and then install the freshly painted parts at home........ how will CarFax find out? With the insurance claim? Not sure how Car Fax gets their info..........

charlie, the previous owner of my car, had the front bumper cover replaced but that never showed up on any CarFax.

Came to a stop behind a biggish work truck (construction company but not a dump truck or anything like that, just a modified ford f150 kinda truck). Guy throws it in reverse and jabs the gas before I could get in reverse or hit the horn. The truck was too wide to see me in either side mirror, and the rear view mirror was partially blocked by a person and metal meshing.

Guy was nice about it (his first accident), just sucks that we were all late to work on top of it all. It was his trailer hitch that hit my car which is why it is a very small, very deep hole, with no other real damage.

Parts damaged that I can see... front bumper, hood and light support bar in front of radiator (looks like it bolts out), possibly the latch (although it is latching fine right now) and not sure about the driver side fender (where the front bumper meets the fender, the bumper is pulled away from the fender, possibly stressing/bending it)

Now it's the hurry up and wait game with insurance companies.
