I was just curious. Both Mike and Jerry have commented here. They both support the development of the community, but do they want to remain in the runnings? I assume not by the tone of their writing, but then again we're on a forum and not in person...

what format should we do it in?

similar to Andy's where there was an option for each combination of a group of potential COs? and whichever combo gets the most votes wins?

 

The poll option is decent but presents a problem with a potential for stuffing the ballot. This would almost have to be a secret ballot done through PM as long as the person receiving the PM's is trustworthy.

 

yeah thats what was brought up in andy's poll. becuase we can only list options, we would have to trust that theh s2ki community respects our region in not voting. This is a very mature community but it only takes one.

the only option i can think of besides on person collecting a bunch of PMs is if we write "voted" in the poll and if the # of votes and posts saying "voted" match then we're ok. again it only takes one numbnut to mess it up...

 

If you want someone to collect and tally pm's, I'll do it. Or send em to me and someone else. That way you have an error checker.
