Default Parking in The city

Well, I took a chance last wkend and brought the s2k into Manhatten. We parked on 54th above 5th for 5 hrs and then jamed into a tight spot on 94th below 1st .Thank dunlap for there rim protecter design as I curbed my tires getting into the spot.Anyway there have been other threads about the obvious fears of parking nice cars on the street, well luckily I must report no problems although the fella in front was 1 inch from my bumper.

Glad you and the S survived! In Manhattan, I usually park in a garage for the duration of my visit (usually around Soho) and take the subway

Last time I was in Manhattan, I did valet, first I got paged in the hotel because they couldn't start the car, then when I got it back I found that someone backed into a pole with it. My new philosophy may be the street from now on.

Theres a self park garage on 54th St and 8th Ave. Next to the World Famous Studio 54. So if in Manhattan...check that garage out. Forget having a parkin dude take the S2000 down in the dungeons....

Watch for potholes in NYC.
