If anything, the throttle response is snappier and more linear in a DBW car because of the typical slack in the S2000 throttle cable.
The slack in the throttle cable can be adjusted out

More like 30 seconds. It takes a 10mm or a 12mm open ended wrench and a finger to adjust.

Well it takes time to unlock the car, pop the hood, prop the hood, check to see how much slack you have, make the adjustment, check to make sure you didn't take out too much slack, unprop the hood, close the hood, and you're done.

Probably takes under a couple minutes.

I know, I've done it. It doesn't change the fact that there's nothing technically inferior about the DBW cars.

I never said the DBW cars were in any way inferior. I have never stated MY opinion on the newer cars. However, you did point out the issue that the cars with cable throttle have slack in the cable. I simply pointed out that the slack issue can be easily solved, thus making it a non issue.

I didn't say that you did, my 'inferior' comment was primarily directed at Francesco.

It's not an issue, unless you don't read this forum. Because the dealer sure isn't going to tell you about it or fix it on their own.
