i have tein flex and am not too happy either. what ever you get keep in mind if your driving on the street and try not to make price an issue. the stock suspension on the S is great, so dont replace it with anything inferior..

Gold stars...ohhhhh.

I still have my S. I got rid of the CF stuff though. Hood went to Nishant, trunk went to my buddy Mike.

The car is going through a full overhaul right now.

Brad, Whats up man, long time no see. I deal with some of the best suspensions in the world on the daily. And still my customers ask me to put thousands of dollars worth of coil-over suspensions on their Porsches. Huge waste of money in my opion, but the customer is always right.... right? In my humble opinion, the stock suspension that comes on our cars is very very nice, with a nice alignment. I would rather tell you to learn to use the stock set-up to its full potential before thinking about replacing it. You will forever be tinkering with the coil-overs, to many possibilities for adjustment, and if you don't have a facility at your disposal to perform your own alignments, its costly as well. If you reall want to lower your car but not have any headaches with adjustments, just get a spoon shock/spring package or something of that sort, and spend the rest at a high performance driving school... Now that my rant is over, any more questions, I would be happy to help.

Kev

Yo brotha... yeah i think the last time was ripping through the valley... good times So yeah, I actually put 18"s on my car (i think you saw the Volks), and I dropped it, just using espiler springs (about 1.3inches). The springs suck, the shocks are just about beat and the rear wags all over the place... its just way too loose.

I dont want to return it to stock, cuz it'll look like a 4X4 S2000!!

I'm looking at KW variant 3's as a real possibilty and then you'll align it for me right???

Driving school!?!? you've seen me drive, bitch! Of course I always see you in my review mirror!! j/k j/k!!

What do you think of KW and can you align my car?

Yah dude, you can drive, but as you say, I was ALWAYS in your rearview, meaning I could have gone faster... I'm tellin you man, I don't think that you really want to do the coil-overs. I don't know anything about KW, and I don't want to get involved with doing you alignment, even though we are boys. That is how much of a pain in the ass these things can be. In order to do it correctly, your gonna have to have these things installed, then corner weighted (this is how I know that I should tell you not to listen to anyone else who has already given you advice, nobody has mentioned this procedure) Then you need a very precise alignment. We charge our customers close to a grand for cornerweighting and alignment. And if you whack a pot hole by accident, guess what.... Thats another grand, we give no discounts for repeat business... My recomendation stands, Spoon Sports Dampers-fix type. They will be more than sufficient for your needs. Why is everyone so quick to spend money on their car, but not on themselves for proper training?

P.S. If you really want to know who is the better driver, we need to meet up and hit this go-kart track some time. I can show you a thing or two,

No wait... I found the "fix" type for 950.00... ok Kevin... convince me that this is a good idea and that I will LOVE this set up? Would I need to do any corner weighing with these?

I'm also looking at the front and rear stabilizer bars for added grab...good idea, yeah, no? what? I appreciate the input!
