Yeah dude, get the fix types, no corner weighting involved, and the sway bars, that thing will stick like no tomorrow. I am willing to put money on it that you will be completely satisfied with this set-up. And if you need help putting it on, I can probably help you out. Anytime I can share what I have learned the past few years at Porsche, I am really glad to help out, your welcome.

You bash every other kit out there, but recommend Spoon basic stuff?

The KW's are a great kit, as are the JRZ's. But, I guess, Spoon must be the best.

I am not "bashing" coil-overs or manufacturers. I am simply sharing my views on the head-aches that coil-overs can cause. I am sure that the KW's maes a great kit, but for a vehicle that is mostly driven on the street, I personally see no need for an expensive, endlessly adjustable suspension set up, kind of overkill. I believe that for a car that is driven aggressively on the street, and maybe on the track every now and then, this would be the best way to go. And I am not praising Spoon, and saying that is the only thing to buy. I just used that type of product as an example, even though I would say it is good stuff.

When it comes down to it, Brad, if I was going to put a suspension kit on MY car, this is the type I would purchase.

Not trying to step on toes here, just sharing what I have learned through experience.

Exactly like you said though for a daily driver, a fully adjustable suspension set up is not needed. But, no sense in spending almost 1k for the Spoon. You could do some lowering springs and Koni yellows and get the same performance for much cheaper. Especially since Brad said he already has springs.

But I know Brad... he needs to have that *Bling* Konis are way too grassroots for him.

that setup is only 4 way adjustable i believe, and probably very hard to get over here...

HAHA!! Man you f'in called ME OUT!!! The espilir springs are too soft I think anyway. I'd like the option of "dialing it in" so to speak. Plus they give you a KICK ASS sticker to put on the fender ... BLING IT BABY!

Alright now, one of you MFING know it alls tell me what I need to know about "corner weighing" and is this REALLY necessary??? Can I use my bathroom scale to do it

To get full performance, and truly using the potential of a real coilover kit, corner weighting is definitely necessary.

Somewhere on this site, there is a write up on how to do it at home. It's either here or Honda-tech.

does anyone make custom valved ohlins, jrz, kw, moton suspensions?

as per my experience "off the shelf" suspensions don't seem to be well matched to the springs that usually come wtih them.

who does the most hardcore researched and developed suspension tuning on the west coast? does anyone use motec to log telemetry while developing suspension spring and damping rates?
