A new life for mdb's thread, thanks to the continued Florida-like weather. Washed the S today and top-down for running errands here. Can't remember ever doing that before on February 16

 

I did the same thing. Washed they old buggy, put the top down, and even put suntan lotion on my old mug. Had Stevie Ray Vaugh CD blasting on the Stereo. It felt great.

 

yeah the garage queen made a appearance saturday top down and all. there was no need to wash her though, clean as a whistle

 

Come on Charlie! There isn't any dust in your garage. I just like the numbness you get in your hands when you wash a car this time of year. I also like the dentist vist, and a hot shower after a real bad sunburn. So don't go by me.

I also had the top down yesterday all day and didn't need to wash her. Although I might have an issue with the new G/F..... She isn't big on the top being down in this weather and she keeps telling me I'm going too fast. All I say is no I'm not I'm only going 80. I can go ALOT faster then that!!!! Not sure WHAT I'm gonna do next Sunday on the way down to Baltimore. Jerry might have to lead us this time if she comes along!!!!

So a new g/f...now I know why we haven't heard much from you lately

Kathy and I will probably be going to Baltimore in the morning next weekend. One of my best friends from High School (a long time ago for us aarp'ers ) is having one of his compositions performed at the Convention Center at 3:30 pm, so we will probly have to miss the drive...but expect to join y'all for the Jazzeds2k's gig/ supper in Cockneysville, or wherever I need to check out the details later this week.

 

sanibel was sunny on fri and sun, but i was there sat

met up with many old friends, two of which now live in sarasota---my new next out of town weekend.

sanibel is flooded with tourists this time of year but still a very nice break.

stayed at the sanibel harbor resort...that place doesn't suck

no stooks seen...too many posers in their ubercars.
