Traded in my s2000 today. :-(
Hey all. After two and half years of really enjoying the heck out of my S2000, I decided to trade it in for a new Jeep Wrangler. I had several Jeeps, including a 1991 Wrangler that I had for 20 years, and I had just sold it right around the time I got the S2K. I really missed the Jeep, and to tell you the truth, the S2K was a bit hard on the back, my wife refused to drive it (although she loved riding shotgun), and it had no back seat for my son (although he loved riding shotgun too!). So when my trusty old Dodge Durango started giving me grief last week, I did the responsible thing and sacrificed the S2K so I could afford a really nice loaded Jeep. I ended up with the "Freedom" Edition, which is totally wicked. Really great interior, killer seats, nice rims, bigger tires, some off road goodies. It is a really nice Jeep. It rides really well. And it has a crap-load more horsepower than any of my old ones. It has something like 282 HP.
I know I could have done a bit better on the price if I would have sold the S2K privately, but to be honest, trading it in was fairly painless, and I get a great deal on the Jeep. They had the color and model I wanted, and I could not have done it without trading in the S2K. So I am a happy camper.
I would like to thank all of you Del-Val peeps for all the help and hospitality over the years. I loved the group rides, the MWG, and especially the Tony Lukes meets. I will still hit up the Tony Lukes when I am not traveling. You guys made owning the S2000 that much more fun! So thanks!
Rock on!

I will be sure to get down to Tony Lukes (just not this month), and hopefully a Carting meet too. I've been down to the Speed Raceway with friends and our kids. Its a great time.
see you around man.

I got the two door. Tried the 4 door, but didn't like it. A real Jeep has two doors and a soft top. :-)
