Ouch! As I just picked up my car in the body shop on Tuesday PM (after 8 weeks in the recovery room), I feel a lot better about my own stupidity (overdue tires/ wet road/ too fast). My misadventure was a lot closer to an accident (hydroplaned/ hit the median/ +10k damage)....compared to this almost premeditated event.

I felt lucky to walk away from my spin-out.....but you must walk on water The only worse pics that I have seen on s2ki were from an accident in which the S was literally *split in half*; the driver did not walk away from that one in NE Philly

Yes, glad that you are OK and I hope that you listen to some of the advice on this thread

You mentioned that the tire tread was "filled" with dirt and the tires weren't in bad shape. I just watched the video and I'm sure they weren't filled with dirt in those images. I feel your tires were on the wear indicators of the tires. The S-02's may still have some tread, but their "stick" is mostly gone by this time.

Looks like that car will need a little more than just buffing out.
Three strikes and you're gone. The count is 0 and 2 now. Have you learned anything? Who will let us know about the 3rd strike? It probably won't be you, unfortunately. Have fun, but slow down for God's sake!

Yo! Caddy! That was phat da way u bust up yo whip like dat! U keep pushin it bro! Hamma down iz whut IM talkin bout, YO!

Ok, now that I'm done talking to Cadillac......

You guys are offering great advice, and your heart is in the right place, but he isn't going to hear a word. If he has not learned from all the BS he has already caused, he just is not going to learn. Even now, read his reply notes where he says he is used to hard driving, etc. Give me a break. He has not learned anything. Twice on the same curve, and the SECOND time he takes it at 114?! Does this sound like someone who "learns from his mistakes"?

I just thank God I live 2,000 miles away from him.

Sheet man, you gonna take that? That onramp totally PWNED you. All your cars are belong to us. If at first you don't succeed... (maybe this time in your Jetta) Remember: 3rd time's a charm.

Insurance? Why does he even have a license? Now that I have a chance to think about it some more, this guy shouldn't even be on the road in any vehicle.
