The best most artistically and theologically oriented drama on T.V. There is more cultural literacy required to view this drama than almost any other drama on T.V.

Just the other day I pulled the first season back out and watched a few key ones such as '33'. The first season was just major kick ass, groundbreaking stuff that left so many other shows behind. I like the fact that there's a human aspect to the show (no pun intended, lol) beyond the whole space battle conflict.

I really liked it but I do have to say the rest is not as good as season 1. It wonders quite a bit in the middle seasons and then gets really convoluted.

I would have liked to have the Cylons identities hidden for a much longer period. What starts out as a hidden menace and a great metaphor for terrorists, suddenly becomes a bickering bureaucracy mired in inner polititcs. The mstery of them was more interesting than the reality.

And "33" is the finest episode in the series.
