Cowboy Beebop, the series and the film
Not sure if anyone has ever done a review of this here. Combined elements of scifi, westerns, and film noir. Excellent animation, interesting characters, plenty of action.
The story surround a group of rag tag bounty hunters in space hundreds of years in the future. The characters are multi denominational and you learn answers to many of your questions about them as time goes along. There is Spike , Jet, Ein, the dog, Fay, and many others, and the ship,, the beebop. Much of the time they have little in the way of success in their adventures, but the ride is worth it.
After the series ends there is the movie. That in itself is worth watching as it is more of the same, yet different. This is all excellent stuff and not new, but the quality stands out, all of it 10 out of 10.
