Question dark water

saw dark water tonight before we went downtown. it was like i expected it to be. but it had a very sad ending. not to say the ending wasn't bad, it wasn't good either. it was just a depressing sad endnig for the movie... do they always gotta kill the main character these days? lol

I also want to watch this.

But when I saw the title of your thread, I thought of the "Pirates of Dark Water". I was like, that show ended before they found all 13 treasures....lol. Just shows you how old I am. =)

That was the worst movie I have seen since "The Hours" , IMO.

I agree that it was a sad ending, but it took forever to get to that point, and even longer to wrap that part up. I (along with most everyone else in the theater) felt ripped off/wanted their money back.

The only thing that saved it for me is the fact that Jennifer Connely is so hot, I mean such a good actress.

Did anyone else notice that the dad ran a stop sign at the very end as they showed the car drive away?

It is. Trust me when i say this Holywood cant make a decent remake of a good film.

Ring, Ring 2, Dark water, Infernal Affair's ect ect. Why does Holywood think American's wont go see a movie with subtitles? (Im from the UK btw)
