DEADPOOL 2...just ok
Saw Deadpool2 a couple weeks ago- just getting around to posting something about it here.
Short and sweet review- this movie is just ok. I so wanted to review it better- after all, Canadian Ryan Reynolds stars. The first Deadpool was original and caught everyone off guard, much like the Hangover did. The first was so clever, this one, not so much. I mean, it tries to be deeper and more clever. The penultimate scene just drags on too long. But, the final credits are effin' excellent! Oh yes, you don't have to stay to the very bitter end, just till about the middle of the credits.
I"m glad I saw it, but I won't own it. Like the first Deadpool, this is NOT for kids under 15- if you let your 8 year old watch this you're a shitty parent. I give it a 6/10. (for reference, the first Deadpool is a solid 9/10 when I think about it).

Saw it on HBO, this is an unusual film, more of the same of the first one. Excellent:writing, direction, casting, and lots of cgi....it's not for kids, but it's ok for young adults, but most of all it's made for the fans of the first one. 9.5 outta 10, a good time film....bucu action and off the cuff remarks for Ryan Renolds...I will surely bet on #3 coming....the story is irrelevant, the characters and writing make the film.
