This is a dark "scifi"series with a bunch of surprises, in fact you can't really know what is going on till you are a few episodes into this. Marvel created this in a comic and now brings it to Netflix in episodic form. There is graphic violence of course.... The setting is a world where super heroes can exist right beside us, this is in fact Hells Kitchen which seems to be New York,and you never seem to leave that area.

It's can be a bit dark and it has a doctor in it...a doctor you will most likely know if you follow his past adventures that take place in his traveling blue box. He plays the bad guy, who is really bad.... and yet since I know him from something else... well it's hard to believe why they cast him in that role? You see Jessica Jones is the central character, she like others here has a dark past, she is a PI, never carries a gun, always seems to have a broken front door, rarely sleeps, gets herself in and out of massive amounts of trouble, money means nothing to her, and she has some special abilities. You meet some interesting characters here in her world....one from the Matrix comes to mind, and there is a series two in the works...stay tuned. It's not for everyone.
