Stephen Gould's other books, by the way, are good reads as well - check them out if you want some entertaining young-adult sci-fi.
Yeah, I've read Wildside and Blind Waves and they were both good books. Lots of Heinlein influence in his stuff. His main characters are independent people who just want the world to leave them alone to do their thing, but also happen to be extremely smart and extremely competent. When the world does not just leave them alone, they fight back very hard and win.

Same here...I thought the movie was only ok. Glad I didn't go to the theatres to see it though

I couldn't recommend renting you.

Come on Jeff - I am a lot sexier now. Still feeling ripped off? I told you in advance on the phone that it may be short, but it sure is thin.

On a more serious note - when you coming back to PHX so I can mooch some golf lessons off you?

Suuuuuuuure now you backpedal. You promised one thing, delivered another, and now it's just excuses. Might as well go sell a M3 Sedan on ebay.

As far as Phoenix goes...I'm really not sure. I was offered (and accepted) a full time position out here so I know I'll be here at least another year, at this point I'm thinking a two to three years max, but we'll see. Unfortunately I was planning on coming back to the mainland for a month or so in September (we get REAL quiet then) and just hanging out in Phoenix and Flag, but now that I'm working for the club instead of caddying (independant contractor) that month has shrunk to about 10 days. And it's in July a good friend of mine that moved to DC is getting married...gotta go check that out.

Anything specific you want to work on with your swing? I could probably guide you to a couple worthwhile drills to assuage the issue.

And yes this post IS on topic, I liked Jumper. I saw it within a day of Vantage Point and thought Jumper was vastly superior (my father agreed).
