The movie was kick @$$. The only thing I didnt like what the final showdown at the end. It wasnt long enough and it could have been done a whole lot better.

Does anyone remember from the trailers where someone is having a black and white sword fight with someone and its either Uma or Lucy that jumps up lands on the sword and balances on it? Anyone?... I didnt see that part make it to the movie.

finally just saw it, awesome movie, really original, I love the way Tarentino directs, animation was good in that one scene, I like how everything was divided into "Chapters", the choreography was good, the storyline, albeit very unrealistic, was still real cool.. Can't wait until Volume 2, anyone know when that's comin out/

One of my fav movies.

My fav character is the girl in school girl uniform w her knives and ball and chain.

fav scene in the movie

school girl chugs bottle of beer.

dirty old man watches school girl.

school girl ask dirty old man: "do you want to penetrate me?"

dirty old man excited: "YES! YES!"

school girl stabs dirty old man

school girl says: "now i penetrate you"

dirty old man dies

< rant mode on > I've been pissed at trailers for years now. Too many show scenes that were deleted or altered in the actual movie. There ought'a be a law! < rant mode off >

finally saw it.
kick ass movie! i liked it, first movie i liked in a while
anime part was AWESOME.

it's all mixed,
pulp fiction + the chinese connection + green hornet + samurai showdown.

"hattori hanzo" is actually a historic figure of japan.

http://www.samurai-archives.com/hanzo.html

also a very popular video game character.

chiaki kuriyama from "battle royal", who played gogo yubari, was so cool too.

Saw it yesterday. Really enjoyed it. It's gory - but in a comic book way.

My wife especially liked the anime section of the movie. It was way cool.

I love the way Tarantino pays homage to past movies and genres that I enjoyed.

Righton Seung - The Shaw Bros. opening credit, Green Hornet music and masks - the tracksuit/Tiger shoes from Game of Death - the eyeball from Five Fingers of Death...

Very cool.
