One particular shot at the end of the film had me kind of giggling when it was supposed to be serious kind of ruined the climax, but it was otherwise a well made film and deserves the critical praise it is getting.

It is not Inception good, but it is scifi that takes itself seriously and is done pretty well.

enjoyed it as well.
i'm glad that the previews for it didn't really reveal what the movie was mostly about. gave a good enough background as to the premise but not enough so that you know exactly what's going on.

Liked it more than I thought I would -- I especially appreciate the thought that went into it.

Time travel movies are hard to pull off well. The writer/director has previously proven himself (with 'Brick' and 'Brothers Bloom') a competent filmmaker and I like that he faced [and answered] many time-travel quandaries artfully and reasonably. Did he answer everything? No...nor should he. And sure, his answers might piss off the science types, but who cares -- he stuck by the 'laws' of his world and it was a fun movie that kept me guessing.
