Maybe those of us on either sides of the coast have a different view than those from the bible belt?
Does it look like I live in Indiana, Nebraska, or Kansas?

stop rolling your eyes and watch your mouth.

at some point brother morpheous says "we freed more minds than we did in 6 years..." or something like that.
Uhhhhh...yeah...they freed minds from the supposed Matrix. That doesn't make them "free minded" people and it clearly doesn't suggest that is what "free minded" people act like.

Honda606.....Your points are totally valid. I don't agree with them, but I do submit that they are completly valid. I have to agree with Seung that it's simply a movie and that's it. In fact I'm going to start a second thread so maybe we can argue points of the movie without fighting and giving away any plot elements that would be spoilers.

The 1st half hour of this was sooo slow. That sex-dance fest in the style of the ending of the 10 Commandments was pointless. Too much filler... Weak story. Too many "what the hell am I watching moments"

In the Matrix all cars are GM.

Didn't live up to the last movie or the hype.

Agreed....a pretty entertaining filler movie. I can't wait to see the 3rd installment and see how everything wraps up. Good thing it's coming later this year!

I came into the theatre 2 hours early last night. Doing that was completely unncessary, since people didn't start showing up until 30 minutes before the movie. Anyway, I enjoyed the movie, except for the fact that it REALLY leaves your ass hanging at the end. I also thought the rave/sex seen wasn't very tasteful. Besides that, I think the movie is definitely worth watching.
