There aren't any other artflick houses in dfw?

I was shocked that the angelika is the only one in Houston. I figured there'd be at least 2 other places to catch indie films, but w/e.

Oh yeah, I'm pissed because it's only playing here til thrusday, and my gf isn't off till Friday.

boooo!

edit: I was wrong, according to the site now, it is showing til at least next tuesday

I saw it. Yahoo users and critics gave it a "B." I have to agree. I will say that it is the first fairly "smart" sci-fi flick I've seen in a while, and would recommend it.

. . . and I'm spoiled rotten with "artsy" theaters near me.

Saw it today. It is being compared to 2001 and Solaris, and I would say I liked Solaris better, but its definately a decent movie.

Rockwell does a nice job, I could see him getting some kind of actor nomination for some range here.
