July 10 in my town.
I've been really looking forward to seeing this. The trailer really intrigued me.

 

Its out right now in Dallas and i really want to go see it... maybe tomorrow.

 

let me know how it is, the angelika is so freakin far...

 

that's where I'm going to see it. The girlie works tomorrow, so it may be a bit later in the week.

 

I think its only playing at the angelika.

 

There aren't any other artflick houses in dfw?

I was shocked that the angelika is the only one in Houston. I figured there'd be at least 2 other places to catch indie films, but w/e.

Oh yeah, I'm pissed because it's only playing here til thrusday, and my gf isn't off till Friday.

edit: I was wrong, according to the site now, it is showing til at least next tuesday

 

I saw it. Yahoo users and critics gave it a "B." I have to agree. I will say that it is the first fairly "smart" sci-fi flick I've seen in a while, and would recommend it.

. . . and I'm spoiled rotten with "artsy" theaters near me.

 

Saw it today. It is being compared to 2001 and Solaris, and I would say I liked Solaris better, but its definately a decent movie.

Rockwell does a nice job, I could see him getting some kind of actor nomination for some range here.

 

i found a theater not in BFE that has it, so i'll try to catch this this week
