late to the review party as well..just caught this on cable....not great in my book...intesteing plot points and fairly well written script, but a fail as a good movie...plot ends up a bit convoluted and uninteresting for me once we find out who the character is (are). well cast....loved the robot personality...rockwell did a fine job but is just not a great actor. special effects were ok...i give it a 5 outta 10 for a great effort at a thinking scifi film....

 

very well made movie, i saw it in theaters and was a little disappointed no one seemed to give it any credit. in my opinion rockwell did a stellar job, much like tom hanks in castaway, not always easy being the center of attention and having to provide pretty much all the dialogue.

 

I understand the greatness and complexity of the story and how artful it was executed yadda yadda yadda...

it still did not meet my expectations before viewing nor the did it satisfy my movie going needs post viewing

 

Great movie. Saw it on Netflix the other week.
