There is an air/bubble ship in this that is really cool A platform in the middle of a cloud that is even cooler. Story elments taken from some of the best Scifi stories are also included. And best of all is Morgan Freeman smoking a cigar. Plot elements that make for absolutely no interest after a while.

The film was long and full of itself, just like it's star, Tom Cruise. The plot is convoluted and complex and it seems ever changing. The visuals are the entertaining part of it, spectacular cgi stuff. There is video game type action included. The music goes right along with what you see and its a great combo. It has Tom trying to show emotion, real feeling, and alas he falls short again . Its a good 20 min too long. I give it a 3 outta 10 for a valid attempt to do a scifi story and the effects.

 

I thought it was good, entertaining. Nothing award worthy but good nonetheless. I would say 7 of 10.

 

I thought it was a great movie - engaging and visually spectacular. A couple scenes were hokie and you can see some things coming, but overall it was a good story.

 

Good Tom Cruise movie. The cinematography was very cool.

 

Far better than the same Writer/Director's TRON2 which was a steaming pile of $#it.

I agree with the above -- worth a watch but rather derivative at points.

 

Tron Legacy was a good movie.
