I don't have HBO unfortunately but I keep hearing from friends how great the show is, I'm thinking of buying it if its on DVD. Any comments about the show?

 

It's a very good show. Lots of action, sticks to the general Rome history, lots of good stuff to see. I don't think you'd be disappointed if you bought it.

 

I own seasons 1 and 2. I got them both for Christmas and already watched all of season 1. It was really good! Lots of action and twists and nudity and such. I enjoyed it and I would suggest it to anyone I know. Cant wait to watch season 2!! but i am kind of holding off for now because i dont want it to end!

Damn good show, I guess it could only be 2 seasons.. Wish it could've gone more..

 

the arch was too short and what they chose to tell happened in too short of time. should have been 4-5 seasons for the amount of story they chose to cover.

I thought it was great regarding sets and costumes, acting and maturity of content.

it was good IMHO but had potential for so much more
