Knowledge wise, I like Rass Kass - Nature of the Threat, although many many many points he made were all wrong, I guess even contemplating those thoughts counts for some type of intellegence.

I know what you're saying. Its like Paris and PE. I didn't agree 100% percent with what they said, but it made you think and had crazy beats.

Snipes, how many times have you heard "Funky Drummer" sampled?

I've got some of the stuff you listed (Slick Rick, PE, Eric B, Pharcyde, KRS 1, onyx and WTC) but I check out the rest. Thanks.

Huh? While Reasonable Doubt is a certified classic, I have all his albums and have some of his early freestyles before he blew. Sure, he has some radio type hits but, there are some real gems in every album. They all are worth owning. There is no doubt he has surpassed both Pac and Biggie thus far. I am a huge fan of Pac's early stuff but the Deathrow garbage just turned me off from him. Just my opinion. Now go pick up "The Black Album", it's the closest to Reasonable Doubt thus far.

Reasonable Doubt was his only good album IMO, he has some great songs on other albums, but I feel that it's went downhill since Reasonable Doubt, only Jay-Z CD I can listen to from beginning to end.. all his middle/end career stuff is okay, but I think too commercial, although I like the blueprint. I bootlegged the Black album, it has catchy songs, but nothing that blew me away..
