I notice a difference, from when I wear running shoes, to just socks. Have you tried it before? You can be so exact with the clutch. Maybe I am just a perfectionist when it comes to driving

I've never had gloves or special shoes for driving in, hasn't seemed to hamper me much if at all. The only time I've worn them is in a race car and the nomex protection was required.

Honestly I worry when people show up with racing shoes/gloves/helmet because I feel like they're treating the Dragon like a track event, which is completely the wrong perspective.

Now if you're saying you want them for track days, diff story.

I'd wear gloves driving normally around town just because my hands sweat and it bugs me. My Piloti's are the only thing I wear in the S.

are you saying that frei and his helmet made you nervous

i have to say though that frei is the exception to that rule. i've driven with him quite a bit and never seen him exhibit reckless behavior
