Ok, ok. I spend a little time on the boat communing with the dolphin and look what happens to my thread.

Let's see, Cincy, with your question about bound vectors you are assuming the Dragon occupies Euclidean space. I am not sure of this and welcome definitive proof.

If we assume, for argument's sake, that it does occupy flat space-time at the scale of interest, bound vectors have no bearing on how fast you drive the Dragon unless you drive _too_ fast at which point you and your car will, to your chagrin and our amusement, become a free vector.

Yours in delayed responses,

Yours in delayed responses,
I am assuming a "free vector" means:

a. Going into the side of a mountain
b. Going off the side of the mountain

If that is the case, no, I do not want to be a "free vector"!

Signed,
Not a Free Vector in Cincy!

Free Vectors are what our fathers, er, well my father, fought for! (I imagine, at your age, you dodged the draft for the Great War).

You're against Free Vectors? What are you, some kind of Marxo-Comuno-Fascist? You'd better be wearing the Red White and Blue the next time I see you, boy!

Dear Ron,

Did not visit Canada, was not in college, had no physical issues, no mental issues (yeah right!) either, but did not have to serve!

Draft actually ended the year I could have been called up!

Signed,
Did not go from Cincy

ps... not sure if I have anything red, white and blue except my boxers.... I'll show them to you next time we see each other!

Dear Ron,

If I use a hole saw with an inside diameter of one inch to cut a wooden dowl with a diameter of one inch in two, what is the volume of the piece that is cut out of the dowl material? (ignoring the material that might be removed by the centering bit in the hole saw)

Dear Ron,

What happened? I never received a reply to the one question that has been bugging me since my dad posed it to me back when I was majoring in Math at S.U.N.Y. Brockport. For forty long years this question has vexed me as it requires knowledge and mathematical skills way beyond mine. (I majored in Math right up until I received a final grade in Intro to Calc that was less than satisfactory. My second semester I majored in Poli-Sci with a minor in beer.)

Help me, Obi-Ron...You're my only hope.
