Default Dragon Warning

Just a heads up for all of you guys, there was a fatality this past weekend, Friday afternoon actually, on the dragon. We were up there this weekend and there were plenty of cops around. Just after the accident there were a LOT of police between the lake and the "detour" to the foothills parkway also.

WATE, the Knoxville ABC affiliate, reported on the accident and also mentioned the "wake the dragon" event next weekend and said that the THP and Blount County would be patrolling HEAVILY during this event.

Good luck to everyone, and BE SAFE.

Guess we will just have to post a car at each end of the Dragon, and drive it once to see if any Officer Bob's are around.....

I'll volunteer to head out early Saturday morning on a scouting mission and be waiting at the gravel lot when everyone arrives. Anyone with me?

Always sorry to learn that someone "checked out". I suppose this falls under morbid curiosity; two wheels or four?

It was a bike. Here's a link to the Dragon's website.
