I'd gladly spend a few hours with Dragon n00bs on Thursday or Friday... things to watch out for, areas NOT to speed (gravel lot, overlook, the gap, etc), etc.

My concern there is that the people who would want to do something like that probably aren't the same people who are drawing the ire of other users of the road.
I know you are right! People's egos just plain get in the way of knowing their limitations. for me - no ego - I long ago learned that before you lead the pack, you have to learn to follow the "big dog". It's either that or stay on the porch.

And while I am no noob, I would really enjoy the chance to have some of the Vets run me through the Dragon. I know I would learn much.

This picture should be blown up and passed out to every registrant, maybe a poster-sized one shown at the driver's meeting.

You don't want to have the Vette's run you through the Dragon... you'll fall asleep

Can they even make it through the Dragon staying between the mustard and the mayo? I mean, we know Tractor Trailers can make it through the Dragon - but that doesn't mean they belong there...

A real lurking sense tells me that something is just around the corner, but what could it be? I have had some psychic moments before, hmmmm....

SR71BB loves this pic.

Seriously, we get that thing blown up to POSTER size and have it at the reception on Friday night for ALL to see...it'll send a message.

After we got thru the Foothills parkway..... we stopped at the bottom of the Dragon and had a talk with the people who hadn't been on the Dragon before....

'Also did it the following day.....

Tried to take care of the new people that we brought along.....

Maybe that is the best way to do it...... have the "caravans" talk to their own people.... ???

If they're not responsible enough to have some common sense then don't invite them in the first place IMO
