I have tried to pair the two again but all I get is "failed".

I do not think I can return it as Patty tossed out all of the packaging.

They / it....the wifi combo, is a piece of total crap !!! I should have known better, when they kept postponing the release of it !!!

Now the public gets to test the garbage out...Obviously...mine will not "Pair" either....I quit !!! It's not worth the aggravation....

I sent a return request to Gopro today. Mine is less than 30 days old so we will see. I told them I had to destroy the packaging to get the item out of the box.

Stay tuned. I really had high hopes about this thing.

Why do I seem to be the only one who has this working? I used it this weekend to start and stop my HD2 and change modes with no problems. This is very strange. I guess it depends on what GoPro does. If they admit they (might) have a problem and issue a RMA, I guess I'll return mine as well.

Let me know if you need any help. I had mine up and running in about 30 minutes. The thing that took the longest was charging all of the batteries. Once the software was downloaded and installed, took a few minutes of experimentation to get the two units updated. I ran with it last weekend at Marion with absolutely no problems.

With the proviso that everyone knows that I'm using a Mac and that the GoPro software is installed on their machine . I found the instructions a bit confusing at first and had to stop and read them a couple of times before I tried the upgrade. I think that was time well spent. Maybe I can put something together to show how it's (sorta, kinda) done.

Well, maybe I'll place my order for a Mac today! I have had it in my cart at Apple's website for a week.

As a MAC owner since 1984 you will greatly enjoy the switch to a quality product. Now price is a different issue.
