Car is at SC Highlander's house (thanks Brian) with a puked diff. Now trying to figure out how to get home. I can get to Savannah pretty easy, but the last 150 miles might be interesting...going to have to try to bribe a family member to drive up to get me or it's "Greyhound here I come!"

Got in around 10:30 last night... left at 10:00 AM but I was with the group that had to pull the car off the side of the Dragon. His car seems to be fine. Some folks from the Deal's Gap motorcycle shop yanked him off with a chain and their Chevy Avalanche.

Your gut feeling about the diff was correct...sorry to hear about this...

I made it home OK and after a FULL night sleep, feeling like doing it all over again.

The Skyway as more than a little foggy but not a total white out at the higher elevations like it can be. No ice, No snow.
