Default I have a concern

I have concerns. I would like them addressed. First, who's in charge?

That concern notwithstanding, since The Spanish Navigator will not be attending this year's Dragon function, The Oldest Laundry girl will be taking over the co-driver's seat. Since I've taken a hiatus of several years, she wants to make sure that we've selected the appropriate attire.

Further posts in this topic will address issues pertaining to outerwear, i.e., jackets, sweaters, pants (whether jeans, khakis, or cordoroy, and the colors thereof), driving shoes, and the like. As the start of the event draws ever nearer, posts will delve deeper into that age old question: "What designer's clothes are most suited to The Dragon? Canali, Salvatore Ferragamo, or Polo by Ralph Lauren?" (Given Ralph Lauren's extensive collection of classic cars - and his ownership of a Bugatti Atlantic - my natural inclination is to rely on his sense of sartorial splender as a mobile homage to his love of all things automotive; but I digress.)

Before turning to these questions, I have a query of a decidely horological nature. I've narrowed my choices down after eliminating a Cellini (what with its 18 karat case and black patent leather strap was never in serious consideration), a Datejust chronometer, a 1947 Bulova tank style spring wound watch, a Bulova Marine Star quartz chronograph with skeleonized hands, a Swiss quartz Wenger field watch, a Seiko cushion case style Recraft automatic, and a Seiko tank sytle gold tone thin tank quartz watch. What's left on the table - and here I need advice - are the following: an Qmega Speedmaster Michael Schumacher chronograph, a Hamilton 42 mm Khaki with a brown strape, or, and a totally left field choice, an Orient 43 mm Mako blue dial dive watch with a stainless steel bracelet.

I am looking forward to having my concerns addressed, for as I have said an unaddressed concern is concerning.

Jay... I'm concerned that you are concerned, but you are asking this group about your concerns?

Not sure this is the correct group to ask about clothing.... as a number of the attendees shop for their clothing at the local homeless center!

I have found it beneficial to just add more days to the event, rather than have my watches go unworn.

I am wearing a Wal-Mart poly T-shirt and boxers from Kroger's as I post this. I shop at all the finest boutiques.
